Google for your movie player's FAQ.  Usually, it'll explain in detail all of 
the issues that could slow performance.  Most likely, you need a better video 
driver, or you need to set your player to use the accelerated video system, 
XV.  It could also be your drives' DMA settings, or simply incorrect settings 
in the player.
