I've added:
ide2=0xb010,0xb402
to the kernel line of my /boot/grub/menu.lst file.
Also
CONFIG_BLK_DEV_IT8212=y
to my config-2.6.10.5-k7 file in /boot
Here's my update lspci -v
0000:00:0e.0 Unknown mass storage controller: Integrated Technology
Express, Inc. IT/ITE8212 Dual channel ATA RAID controller (PCI version
seems to be IT8212, embedded seems (rev 11)
Subsystem: Integrated Technology Express, Inc.: Unknown device 0001
Flags: bus master, 66MHz, medium devsel, latency 0, IRQ 11
I/O ports at b010 [size=8]
I/O ports at b400 [size=4]
I/O ports at b810 [size=8]
I/O ports at bc00 [size=4]
I/O ports at c000 [size=16]
Capabilities: [80] Power Management version 2
Here's my current DMESG line, it's found the drive but can't use it
because it can't find an IRQ even though the above says it's using IRQ11
Any clues on how to fix this?
DMESG output:
Probing IDE interface ide2...
hde: Maxtor 6Y080L0, ATA DISK drive
hde: IRQ probe failed (0xffff3dfc)
hdf: IRQ probe failed (0xffff3dfc)
hdf: IRQ probe failed (0xffff3dfc)
Probing IDE interface ide3...
Probing IDE interface ide4...
Probing IDE interface ide5...
ide2: DISABLED, NO IRQ
