Great idea Matchless,

I am thinking the same thought - just need some peace to fiddle a bit
(my computer is also my main work computer .... I want to avoid
"downtime") and get the settings right. Onthe other hand, failing to
resolve the problem with firebird really irritates me. It is bound to
be something stupid,something really obvious that I have missed.
