Thanks for the help.



I pulled up my /etc/network/interfaces and here is what I found.

I was surprised not to see eth0 listed for my ethernet adapter, but it
does list in lspci, so the hardware is being started. Why are there two
listings from my ath0?



I am going to try commenting out the auto ath0 and see how that works.




I do have to say that ubuntu has been my favorite distro since I
started playing with linux & I am looking forward to breezy,
