OK, before I install, a couple of newb questions?

No, it is completely the other way around ! Females have brought me
nothing but disappointment and problems over the years. After 10+ years
of severe depression, it's clear that it's not worth wasting the rest of
my life continuously hoping for the best and getting the worst. The only
way to enjoy life for sure, is to live your passion(s) and hobbies,
period. Anything else is bound to screw up at some point. Computing,
Linux and Ubuntu certainly isn't my passion, but it's definitely
qualifies as a hobby, and as such, I try to get the most enjoyment out
of it.

Now maybe I will, in 20 years, come across this so called sister soul,
and change my the way I see life. That would be great, if I am not dead
by then ie. But I certainly don't even remotely count on it, and won't
waste time waiting.

So, please forgive me if I am enthusiastic about Ubuntu.
