quasar accounting on ubuntu??

Raja,

I have tried a reinstall and fresh install after reinstalling
ubuntu. Stiil no luck. I can create a company, but cannot open it. It
does not recognise the user and passward as admin. Just to cross check
with you, I am using ubuntu on KDE and firebird 1.5.1 and Quasar 1.4.6.
I am now reloading ubuntu to run with Gnome and will try again this
weekend. Any suggestions. By the way iot seems as if the script you
provided does not start Quasard and the telnet localhost 3599 fails
after rebooting. if I start Quasard from the terminal telnet passes the
connection. and i can see the company, but not log in to it. Ihave tried
everything. Any suggestions?
