is breezy stable enough to use

Earlier, I tried upgrading to Breezy after editing /etc/apt/sources.list
and doing

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade

X will not start. I am going to try it again doing

sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

any thoughts?
