Mindawn http://www.mindawn.com sells tracks in both lossy format, using Ogg
Vorbis, and LOSSLESS - using FLAC. They also fully support Linux, since they
are a side project of the Kompany. They deal basically with alternative acts
and I think that will be the pattern we will see from now on: On one hand
mainstream acts signed to labels that are RIAAA members and sold in
DRM-infected formats, and on the other hand the lesser known and independent
alternatives who are prepared to build some sort of relationship with their
fans that involves not treating them as criminals. Luckily, they are usually
better anyway.
