Mobile phone/PDA combo that will sync with Ubuntu.

Something weird seems to be happening to this e-mail.
First my ISP cuts out, then Yahoo tells me I have been
on too long. Anyway, the e-mail seems to have never
reached the server and so I will try one more time. I
don't see my Visor HotSync cradle in either Gnome
device manager or by doing lspci -v. However, ls -l
returns:

/dev/ttyUSB*
crw-rw----    1 root     dialout  188,   0 2005-01-27
19:00 /dev/ttyUSB0

dmesg returns:

usb usb4: string descriptor 0 read error: -19

I am wondering if this is my Visor HotSync cradle. I
tried to find out why I get this message before on the
list, but didn't get a reply. Anyone have any ideas?
