Totem giving error

Ubuntu-desktop is what's called a metapackage (just a list of
packages, basically). It's OK to remove it. One small issue that
other's have noted is that it's a good idea to reinstall
ubuntu-desktop just before upgrading to a new version (from Warty to
Hoary, for example) to ensure you get all of the updated packages.
Since this issue comes up frequently (and scared me too), maybe the
developers might want to make these metapackages a little less
visible?
