You can, but you shouldn't! Hoary is the development release from 
ubuntu, which means the devs are still hacking on it and it propably 
contains bugs. Stable release will be in April 2005, see

If you want to get rid of the error-message add a line to 
/etc/hotplug/blacklist which contains the name of the module:

# mode tools can also control driver binding.
#
# Syntax:  driver name alone (without any spaces) on a line. Other

### Add these two lines
# Don't try to load 'pciehp' on startup
pciehp
