upgrades break opengl

There's a wxPython dev mailing list that might be a better place to
ask this question. I've found them very quick, and I know there are
many people using wx on Debian-based systems. You can find the list of
lists at

I've written lots of things in wx, but not yet on Ubuntu and never
with OpenGL, so I just don't know.
