Relative Newbie With Display Problem (Problem 1).

Cool, I have never had to do that before, but it does
sort of work. The resolution (Hz) choices still aren't
what they should be for a ViewSonic E70 and app menus
are slightly bowed, so that of course makes me wonder
if the resolution settings are good for my monitor,
but it does work.
