hoary ppc live cd + osx disk utility

Hi,
I've been trying to burn the hoary ppc live cd using mac osx's disk
utility without much success. Disk utility itself seems to be ok, ie: I
can burn other iso's but any attempt to burn the hoary iso results in a
crash. I've tried getting the image from
cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current twice with the same results each
time.
