Warty install problem using a LG CRD-8360B CD-ROM

Hmm, I tried out-waiting him[1] and when I looked back it seems the
installer got past the ide-cd, but now hangs (or waits a lot) after
asking for the PCMCIA card services. Curioser and curioser, said Alice.

[1] ok, ok, it was a (very) long phone call from my girlfriend
