Yikes, this is really ugly. Why are you running Nautilus as root to talk to
sftp servers? The "connect to server..." menu entry, and simply typing in
the sftp urls in the open location dialogue both work. You can have any
number of these open at once. I often transfer between sftp servers with
Nautilus. ;-)
