Alternate Ubuntu Install Methods?

	Hello all.

	Are there any alternative Ubuntu install methods, aside from the 
default installer?  I have been unable to get the default installer, on 
both Warty and Hoary, to work correctly.
	I am currently using Gentoo and have had to book using a Knoppix LiveCD 
in the past in order to install Gentoo on this system.  Is there a way I 
can bootstrap the Ubuntu installer in a similar way?
