Do you really know that the majority want this changed? The fact that
some people have talked about this to the list, rendering the topic
highly visible, doesn't mean that their views reflect that of an
absolute majority of list members.

reply-to-list is a much-needed feature in Thunderbird imho. I think the
way this list is set up is pretty sane overall even if my favored mail
client doesn't make it super easy to reply to the list (yet).
