Ubuntu KDE

Perhaps Redhat-KDE could be a model.  I enjoy programming in C++ and
using Qt.  In my case, I just removed Ubuntu and put Fedora Core 3 on
instead.  I then added the repository for Redhat-KDE which has the
latest and greatest.  Perhaps this is something you could do with
Ubuntu.  Anyway, I really miss Ubuntu I liked it better but I needed
to do some Qt development.
