Hi,
after have tried several distributions Ubuntu is becoming my choice,
however I have a few preliminary simple questions.
When I installed Ubuntu I choose the screen resolution to 1280 X 1024,
but, I guess for refreshing problem, I see vertical annoying strips.
So, in my session I changed it to 1024 X 768 and that works fine.
How do I change this setting everywhere?
At the login page it is still at 1280 X 1024 and when I create a
new user the default comes out 1280 X 1024.
Also, once I spent quite some time configuring the desktop in
a particular way, I would like to make this configuration the
default for new users. How can I do this?
On the same subject, is it possible to set default language for
a user (or a group)? It would be nice if that can be selected
in the GUI for create a new user. I know a user can choose the
language at login (but I think most of the time they would forget
to do so).
Thanks,
Gio
