kernel^W linux upgrade via apt

linux-image-xxx is part of "main", thus is free and has the icon. 
linux-xxx is part of restricted, thus doesn't get the icon in synaptic
(but is still supported by Ubuntu's developers).    I would have
assumed that restricted would have also got the icon in synaptic until
I actually check it out last night.
