KVM messing my mouse

I've finally found a workaround for this problem. It seems that it really
is a problem with the 2.6 kernel rather than Ubuntu.
In /etc/modules, edit to read:
psmouse proto=bare
After editing, I rebooted, although I think you can invoke the new
protocol another way if you don't like rebooting.
This will leave you with a basic two button mouse and third button
emulation but no scrolling or extra buttons.
