Hello,

open Computer->Administration->Synaptic Packet Manager. Type in your
password. Go to Settings -> Packet Sources ("Paketquellen" in German -
it's the second entry). Here change all instances of "Warty" into
"Hoary" for every source. Close the dialog, "reload" your packet listing
(first button), "Mark All Upgrades" (second button), then "Apply" (third
button).

Now your system is upgraded to Hoary.

(He asked for a gui-way, so it is a little bit futile to give him
instructions how do that in th cli.)
