Grub on dual boot

Hello all,
I have a problem with Grub. When I installed Ubuntu, it detected my
WindowsXP and added an entry to the Grub menu. After I updated my
system, the new kernel was added to the grub menu but the windows entry
was removed!

I don't use Windows much, but I need it for school. So I had to add the
entry myself. Is this a bug or just something that has to be
implemented?
