Totem starts after boot/reboot with DVD in drive, BUG?

I like that totem (or whatever specifed media player) starts when you
insert a DVD so that it starts playing the movie. Totem will not
actully play the dvd but that is a seperate issue and I will leave
that for a seperate thread.
The real issue that i am seeing is that i do this...
1) I insert a DVD (which due to a different bug doesn't actually auto
mount on the desktop)
2) I can watch Futurama in Mplayer (latest from cvs as of a few days ago)
3) All is well
4) I finish watching Futurama and turn of my machine while leaving the
DVD in the drive.
5) The next time I start my computer, with the DVD still in the drive,
I log into Gnome and after a delay of about 1 min, totem starts
up(which throws an error, diff thread ;).
IMHO, totem should not be starting at this point. Yes, totem should
start when I insert a DVD, but not when I first start Gnome after a
reboot. This seems really to be more of a usability thing, i ?think?
anyway.
Can anyone else verify this, before i open a bug on it? Any opions on
how this should work? Is there a way to stop this from happening OTHER
then turning off this feature in the Removeable Storage pref.
Thanks in advance,
Matt
