How about installing new hardware AFTER system installation?

Anybody tried Kudzu? It's in the universe...
Kudzu works REALLY well in the RedHat/Fedora realm (personal
experience). Is there a Kudzu expert out there with experience in the
Ubuntu world who can assist this person?
