Hoary - xmms hangs

This seems pretty weird, but xmms hangs for like 5-10 seconds whenever I
execute it via the Gnome Menu and click play to play something. After
hanging for those 5-10 secs it will start playing the music. If I
execute it from the command line, it seems to work just fine and play
the music right away. I am using Array 5 and trying to play an mp3. I am
using only the base Hoary stuff, I am NOT using anything from universe,
etc...

Is this happening to anyone else?
