[Hoary] Repositories window unavailable after doing a system upgrade

Hello,

Yesterday after doing my daily upgrade of Hoary I noticed that there's
something wrong with Synaptic. In the package list the Ubuntu logo in
front of the packages had changed to Debian logo and there's a problem
with the repository settings window too. When I click to open it, the
window opens just for a second saying "Building repository dialog" and
then it closes (before gettin ready with what it's doing). Immediately
after this a second window opens saying "Downloading package
information". This is the same window which you see when you click
"Reload". The window seems to bahave exactly as if I had clicked the
"Reload" button. Anyone else having these problems?

Is Ubuntu possibly in a process of merging with Debian? If so, is it
then going to be Debuntu or Ubian? :-)
