I see mine (and of course yours) in this thread, but if the posting
isn't listed in the postee's inbox, how can you be sure that:
1) The posting was actually received by the list server?
2) That the list server actually distributed the posting to the list
subscribers?
This may not be an issue for a lot of other people on the list and I
apologize if that is the case, but I have a really crappy Internet
connection (supposedly cable) with lost packet errors, time out errors
and all sorts of weird stuff going on. Seeing the original in my inbox
is the only means by which I can confirm that people actually received
my posting. This is particularly important, so that I know that no one
on the list knows the answer to my posting, or just doesn't have time,
rather than wondering not only about how to solve a problem that I may
be having in Ubuntu, but also whether anyone actually received it.

I haven't been able to ascertain completely what the problem is with
my Internet connection, but last year when there was a similar
problem, the ISPs claimed that there was a problem with the Internet
node to Indonesia.
