Printing

I'm a new Ubuntu user - and so far love it.
The problem I'm having is with printed pages. 
The entire page is not getting printed - one or two
lines at the bottom are being omitted - or the last line will print only the top half of the line.

I've made the font smaller - which only results in part of what was page
2 printing on the first page but still, the bottom of the page is cut
off. 
Changing the bottom margin doesn't seem to help either.

I don't know what to try nest.
Can someone tell me what the solution might be?
