Debian testing receives security updates by propagation through Debian
unstable, if and when the maintainer takes action and provides a fix.
Ubuntu universe receives security updates directly, if an MOTU maintainer or
other interested individual takes action and provides a fix, or a fix is
available in Debian.
Ubuntu main receives security updates directly, through full-time staff
sponsored by Canonical, and Ubuntu community developers.
