I use sylpheed-gtk2, it will (if configured) respect lists and send the
reply to the list.
Common Preferences --> "Compose" tab --> check box "reply button invokes
mailing list reply"
It works for me and because it's a gtk2 application it blends well with
gnome (or XFce4).
