Corrupted Downloads

Okay, I just read through the bug reports for the bug you linked to. 
This is the unmodified sources.list as provided, and it also occurs
after I uncomment universe and add multiverse to it.  But it is also
happening on actual deb's it is downloading, which I didn't see
mentioned in the quick read I did of bugzilla.  I took a break from
the machine today, but will work on it a little tomorrow, and send in
the actual output from apt-get or aptitude.
