panasonic digital camera doesn't mount - should I file a bug?

Hi all

I've got a Panasonic DMC-LC33 digital camera that doesn't  mount in
Ubuntu Warty without a complicated workaround or a custom built kernel.
The camera mounts as a USB device with Mandrake 9.1 and Fedora Core 1. I
believe the problem occurs with any 2.6 kernel based distro.

So is this something I should file a bug report for? What info should I
provide?  I've got a dump of the syslog, and a potential fix found on
the web

Anything else?

I guess the other question is has anyone else got a Panasonic DMC-LC33
working with Hoary?
