http://www.teaser.fr/~hfiguiere/linux/digicam.html suggests that
Olympus cameras made in the past few years are generic USB storage
devices; what this means is that the camera should be recognized as
just another removable disk drive, and that gphoto2-based methods for
importing pictures aren't going to work (see
http://www.gphoto.org/doc/manual/FAQ.html#FAQ-camera-support for the
explanation). What you want is pimp, from Oliver Grawert
(http://www.grawert.net/software/pimp/), which imports pictures from
that type of camera.
