Ubuntu my love, we won ! :o)

My laptop (with battery ;-) goes to sleep quite nicely. If it's
plugged in it'll go to sleep after a while (don't know how long since
I'll come into the room and it's asleep) and if I press the "power"
button (it's a Mac PowerBook) it'll go to sleep after killing power to
the Airport wireless card and it'll do the same if I shut the lid
(caveat, don't unplug a USB mouse if the lid is shut and the computer
asleep... Ubuntu doesn't know how to handle that... which reminds me
that I should report that kernel fault to the Bugzilla).

(so, Vincent, it is possible... I imagine Energy Star features will
work on desktops)
