broadcom 4306 problem

I have installed ndiswrapper and iwconfig shows it, ndiswrapper shows 
everything is fine, but yet no matter what I do the network utility 
won't configure the card and activate it.  It says it is but it takes a 
long time, and an ip is never gotten from the router.  The nic is good 
because it was working in another machine and transfered over.  Could it 
be that the router is set to NOT allow any unknown mac address's?  Would 
the mac address carry over even though its an entirely different 
machine?  ( Same machine name )
I've never had this much problem with this nic.  I own 4 of them and all 
the others I've been able to get  working in minutes.  Not this time.
