I have used Ubuntu the last three months after a heavy crash with Windows when
after a power problem I lost motherboard, memory and hard drive and I just
got money enough to buy motherboard and memory and I had to install
everything with the old processor -I am still not sure if it is in good
shape, (probably I will have to buy a new one later on)- and the old bad hard
drive.

Windows did not want to work. I got a lot of blue windows -I hate them- and
pagination error messages and then a friend told me about Ubuntu 5.04. That
was the end of the blue window messages and any other similar thing.

Now I got a new hard drive and my PC is working perfectly with Ubuntu 5.10 and
KDE 3.5.0. Still I need to learn a lot about linux and plugins and things
like that but Ubuntu is really a great solution for me.

Emmer.
