You have to add the printer.
 1. Go to System -> Administration -> Printing
 2. Doubleclick "New Printer" to create a printer.
 3. "PDF Printer" should show up as detected printer, highlight and go
forward.
 4. For "Manufacturer" select "Generic" and select "Postscript Printer"

NOTE: The cups-pdf instructions suggest using the ppd that shows up as
printer model "postscript color printer (rev3)", but I have found this doesnt
work as well for me. Also note that cups-pdf in general has some issues with
it so your virtual printing mileage may vary.
