smb4k-0.6.4 package

Help please.
I am wanting to install smb4k to browse windowsXP shares on a small home
network.
The version in the breezy repository is a little problematic when mounting
shares as normal user. So I tried to build the latest version from source
and have failed. Don't know why - appears to go ok but when complete smb4k
isn't there!
Found a debian package of the latest version. smb4k_0.6.4-0.0_i386.deb
When I install there are dependency issues with
kdelibs4
libqt3c102-mt
Now I have looked and see that in my kubuntu breezy install these packages
exist but are called kdelibs4c2 and libqt3-mt.
So the package will work but leaves a dependency issue if I force the install.
then everytime I run apt-get or adept smb4k gets uninstalled.
What do i have to do to get over this dependency issue?
Thanks in advance
