Just type "sudo apt-get install fluxbox" (without the quotation marks)
in a terminal. When it is finished, logout, change the session to
fluxbox and log in.

An alternative is to use xfce. Like fluxbox, it has very low cpu usage,
and in ubuntu has the added advantage of being parcelled with all the
programs needed to get a fully working desktop. To install it, load the
ubuntu cd into the drive, and restart the computer. Make sure your
computer is bootable from cd. When it boots into the cd screen, type
"server" (without the quotation marks) and press enter. Then go about
the install as usual. When your computer restarts and finishes
installing packages, it will show a terminal. Log in, and type "sudo
nano -w /etc/apt/sources.list" (without the quotation marks). Uncomment
the lines pertaining to the universe repository. Press Ctrl+X and the
enter and then anter again. Afterwards, type "sudo apt-get install
xubuntu-desktop" (without the quotation marks) and wait for the install
to finish. When it is done, restart the computer.
