I downloaded fluxbox_0.9.14-1_i386.deb from fluxbox website and really
_really_ want to start using the same. However, I don't know
_anything_ about synaptic or apt_get (what are these things???) and
instead of repeatedly double-clicking the .DEB file nothing has
happened! Can you guys or any kind soul on this list could _please_
tell me a step-by-step procedure to install fluxbox on my system. I
_really_ like the GUI - it's fantabulous !!! I would certainly like
you to advise me as to which version of fluxbox I should use. I would
appreciate any other helpful hints.

I _really_ want to give Ubuntu CDs to _all_ my friends and relatives
who are so fond of Windows XP but I want them to really see this
excellent Linux GUI (fluxbox) themselves. Basically, I want to
install many good software applications on my system along with
super-duper GUI like fluxbox and once I have done it, I want to give
the other 4 CDs to my friends who currently use Windows XP. I am sure
many will convert to Linux from Windows! :)

Thanks in advance.
