Well that sucks.  In my area there's competition, so I'd just switch
from DSL to cable or to something else, and the ISP's know that, so
they don't complain.  Plus my DSL is capped at 320/280, so there's only
so much damage my traffic can do to their system.  Bittorrent would do
more damage.
