Do you have 1) A static IP address? and 2) An always on connection?
Install apache2, and whatever you throw in /var/www will be on your
server.
Learning how to run a whole web server setup takes time. Learning the
basics of Apache first is usually a good idea, then move on to mysql,
php, and whatever else you want to tackle.
If you've got a static IP, you need to go to wherever you bought the
domain name and point it at that IP address. If not, you'll need to
figgure out dynDNS or something.
