Install on Compaq R4000

Are you replying to my post? Just curious because I don't even get to a
command prompt to edit anything. I just get the initial install screen
where I can type what kind of install I want and I type "install" and
it goes through the checks and then at the end of the checks the last
line says something about frame buffer and flashes to a black screen.
