updating nvidia

I've upgraded with positive results, especially that I can now use the
Composite extension without a system freeze (KDE).



I used the NVidia installer. Be aware that it needs to build a new
kernel module, so you need to remove the Ubuntu restricted modules (I
don't know how to remove just the nvidia one) as well as the driver,
and of course you'll need kernel headers.
