Nightmare printing to Windows printers

Hi.
Lee, which version of Ubuntu are you on?
I've got my own problem with a Samsung ML-1430. In Warty, it worked
-fine-. In Hoary, I could never print out of OpenOffice because of some
bug between CUPS and OOo1.3. Now, I'm on Breezy, where said bug was
fixed. However, when I try to print out of OOo2.0, the first page
prints fine, -and every successive page prints sideways-. I mean, from
the 2nd page onward prints with the text aligned with the left 11" edge
of the page. But the text is still 8-1/2" wide, and the top bit of text
is cropped off. (So it didn't quite go "landscape" on me - but almost)
If I print out of, say, the pdf viewer, everything prints normally.
If anyone out there has an idea, please share it.
Thanks, and best regards,
satyam.
