Hi i had problem to run SWAT so i search via google and found this help:

To get swat working on ubuntu you must do the following steps:

1) In /etc/inetd.conf remove the "#<off>#" on the swat line so it looks
like this:
swat stream tcp nowait.400 root /usr/sbin/tcpd /usr/sbin/swat

*2) Install the inetd and swat packages 'sudo apt-get install inetd
swat'*

3) To use swat you will need your root password. If you don't know it
(ubuntu sets one at install time and doesn't tell you what it is) then
change it: 'sudo passwd'

The bold one is the step which i forgot to proceed.
Now everything ok ;) SWAT is accesible on http://127.0.0.1:901 with
root/<pasword> :)
