the evolution of my spreadsheet to pdf output...

Hi,

I have a little issue, call it insane, call it what you want but here it is:

It all starts with a spreadsheet that I've used for years. Through
windows, and linux, and always output to PDF.

With windows, I was using Adobe Acrobat to create the PDFs. With
Linux, I have always used OpenOffice's PDF export.

(Windows, Excel 2000 -> PDF)

(Debian, OO.o1 -> PDF)

-rw-r--r--  1 dclarke dclarke   4027 2005-03-17 12:27 050317-ms.pdf

(Ubuntu, OO.o1 -> PDF)
-rw-r--r--  1 dclarke dclarke  75725 2005-04-05 16:02 050405-ms.pdf
-rw-r--r--  1 dclarke dclarke  72781 2005-05-03 16:28 050503-ms.pdf

(Ubuntu, OO.o2 -> PDF)

Since I email these files, 75k was "ok", but 310k is pushing it.

So, what gives?

Does anybody have any ideas as to why through two updates of Ubuntu
the filesize has blown up so large? Same document, it's undergone no
changes except for very basic text input (which replaces previous
data, not adds to...)

That's just my little quirk.
