Not relevant to what?  It may not seem relevant to your interests.  However, 
that does not make it irrelevant in some general sense.  I don't know how to 
help you here.

This is an inaccurate statement.  Every person who has posted that they have 
replaced Windows proves my point.  I only use it at my other job because 
that's what they have been using for the last 15 years or so.  I have 
replaced in, not only for my home, but also for our ministry.  Your statement 
would be much more accurate if you said GNU/Linux is not ready to run native 
Windows apps, or something like that.

GNU/Linux doesn't.  I do.  So, apparently, do many others.  I wrote an article 
called "A Year Without Windows".  You'll find it on LXer.com.  Search for the 
title.

GNU Philosophy is more a way of life than GNU/Linux, which is merely an OS.  
It is difficult to see how an OS can become a way of life.  I agree that it's 
a tool.

I don't have to trust you.  I'm well into adulthood.  I know from experience 
that people are different.  I gather that you have not replaced Windows 
altogether?
